Construction location: North of Fudui River and west of No. 3 Petrochemical Road, within the existing plant of Lianyungang Petrochemical Co., Ltd.

Project investment: 2.5 trillion yuan.

Construction content: 1 set of 700,000 tons/year ethylene oxide plant (main plant, low temperature water system, fire water station, cabinet room, substation, accident pool, deluge valve room, EO tank farm etc.), as well as related supporting circulating water station and air separation unit (including argon gas system), the construction scale is designed to produce 696,000 tons of ethylene oxide per year.

Lianyungang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Satellite Chemical Holdings. It is expected that the ethylene oxide project launched this time will further thicken the company’s C2 downstream industry chain. As a national leading acrylic and ester enterprise, Satellite Chemical has formed a complete C3 and C2 industrial chain layout, of which the company’s C2 industry is concentrated in Lianyungang, including 1.35 million tons of PE, 2.19 million tons of EOE and 260,000 tons of ACN combined plant project, green Chemical new material industrial park project, as well as the company’s recent EIA’s alpha olefin industrial test project. At the same time, the company and SK Comprehensive Chemical plan to jointly build a 40,000-ton high-end packaging new material (EAA) project.
